There might be a misapplication of the "normal pre-menopausal range"
issue here. Is the doctor comparing her levels to the normal range for
a lactating or for a non-lactating woman? Are there validated ranges
available for lactating women? If these are the only data, I'd probably
consider the "diagnosis" to be unconfirmed.
