Dear Lactnetters,
You may reply personally to me at <[log in to unmask]> if you wish, but I
need to know if most LC's particularly in Washington state and even more
specific to the Puget Sound area, are paid at RN salary pay scales. Our
RNs just got a significant raise which accounts for the number of years
total they have worked. I am not classified in the same category-I am non-
management, non-contract. The people working on raising my wages want to
know what the standard is. I am an RN with 23 years experience, 11 years
IBCLC and 3 years in the actual position of Lactation Consultant if anyone
can relate. I know Chris Hafner-Eaton did research on this but did you
divide it into areas, Chris?
Thanks for any help you can give.
Denise Stuart, RN,BSN,IBCLC
