I work at both local hospitals and I am not a nurse.  I have my BS degree in Animal and Veterinary  Medicine, and was in the pre-veterinary medicine program.  I have a CLC, CBS, IBCLC, ICCE.  I am currently working on my MA with a focus and emphasis on lactation.  

I began my work with lactation in 1990 with La Leche League of Florida and belonged with the Titusville, PortStJohn, Merrit Island and Cocoa Beach groups!!  

I strongly believe that my LLL background gave me a highly solid background in lactation and feel that any one who thinks that you must be a nurse to do lactation is wrong.  We must keep an open mind about this.
