Dear Lactnetters,

Upon the mention of the "Marvin" strip, my gag reflex kicked in.  This is one
of my most unfavorite comic strips, historically very bottle oriented and
kids separated from parents, baby crying in the crib a lot, lots of all too
"mainstream" parenting ideas.  I don't think this author ever had kids, if he
did, I pity them.  The breastfeeding thing was just thrown out recently; in
all the history of this strip, Marvin's mom never breastfed him!  I wonder
what has happened lately to make the author try to be more "PC"? (politically
correct)
