I agree with this!  Well said!!  My 3rd baby (8 weeks) clicks with almost
every nursing.  Weight gain is great (about 1 pound a week), nursing is great
as well.  She seems satisfied, and I have no uncomfortable sensations while
nursing.  I too think this clicking is related to my overactive MER.  It
seems to me as though she is trying to suck so hard and long with each draw
to keep up with the amount of milk being put out that she goes too far with
her sucks and breaks suction.  I find I get less clicking when I pull off
upon letdown and wait until spraying ceases and I am just dripping (I only do
this when she struggles uncomfortably during a letdown).  Of interest,
though, the clicking doesn't seem to bother either of us.  Just goes to
show...if it ain't broke, don't fix it!  :-)
