Tammie,

Check on the abx hx.  Did she have them during deliver or post partum?
Did the baby?

While it could be a bad latch, it could also be thrush...esp if
breastfeeding was feeling fine and is suddenly becoming uncomfortable.
Are the nipples more red/pink than usual?
