No reason for concern here.....baby gained 15 oz in about 10 days! Is the
nursing behavior that you described a change from what she was doing during
the above time period?

What constipation? It is the consistency of the stool that determines
constipation, not frequency!
 In addition all of the behavior that you describe seems very normal to  me.
Are you thinking nipple confusion because the babe pulls off the breast some?
I don't think so based on that. You don't mention but does she use
compression? Particularly later in the feed, this will increase her flow of
milk and let the babe know that her efforts are "worth it". I am very careful
regarding judicious use of the term "nipple confusion" as, at least in this
area, it engenders much skepticism. I might also try f-ball hold, ime- it
often increases flow. I have had some babes with poor wt. gain, changed them
exclusively to f-ball hold and they gained terifically. Doesn't seem to be
the case for all, but a large enough majority.
