My main experience was the lo-o-o-ng nursing relationship I had with my son.
Is pure lanolin still recommended for healing nipples?  I certainly found
it worked very well and am recommending it to an expectant mother I know
for lubricating her skin and conditioning a little before giving birth.  I
also recommended that she look forward to just relaxing and establishing
her milk for a while, happily she's not in a position to have to run out to
a job.
