An excellent article by Elisabeth Sterken on Vitamin D appears in the
current issue of the INFACT Canada newsletter. Unfortunately it has not
yet been posted on the website, but hopefully will be up soon. In the
meantime, you could e-mail Elisabeth at [log in to unmask] The story was
picked up by a number of journalists including Marlene Habib at Canadian
Press. Her article appeared in the Montreal Gazette and possibly
elsewhere. It can be viewed at

Incidentally, did anyone else have trouble sleeping last night? I did and
flipped on Politically Incorrect, where the host brought up the case of the
California woman who is suing a major bookstore chain (Borders?) as they
asked her to leave because she was breastfeeding. The host, Bill Maher,
took exception to public breastfeeding, but was shouted down by all four
panelists, who in turn were applauded by the studio audience. Maher's last
remark, something to the effect of "the only proper place for a woman to
bare her breast in public is at a Mardi Gras parade" was so silly it
suggested that his previous comments were tongue in cheek as well.
