This is a fabulous pump and I use it with all of my clients now. I first
discovered it when I was doing an induced lactation. Anyhow, it is also the
pump that Dr. Lenore Goldfarb from www.asklenore.com recommend for
induced lactation and relactation. Limerick Inc., the company behind the pump
is a wonderful female run (mom and daughter) team and they are awesome
women. You can contact them at www.limerickinc.com .

This is a multi-user pump at an affordable price. It actually has breast
compression instead of just pulling nipple tissue. I have used it on clients who
were never able to pump with hard flanged pumps because of their fibrous
breasts taking a beating, which would inevitably always lead to mastitis. With
this pump, they never once had an episode of the infection.

I wish I'd have known about this pump when I was breastfeeding. I really love
it, and have of course tried it, although not currently lactating. It is very
comfortable and does feel like the baby is actually sucking. I can't say
enough about it! I sell the pumps, but have no financial interest in the
company, so suffice it to say, I have no gain from gushing over this product-
except for the knowledge that some women out there will get better milk yeild
while pumping with this pump. Funny that Lisa's client got a lower milk yield,
because I have gotten quite the opposite results from the 15 plus clients now
on this pump. One sidebar, though, If a mom with low-milk supply issues or
previos pumping experience starts out with the hard flanged pumps, it may be
difficult for her to adjust to the soft suction of this pump. They may never
respond to it because they are waiting for the hard slapping of their breast
against a hard flange shell. These women mentally impede success with this
pump. Just an observation I have made with 3 of my clients who didn't
succeed with this pump. All 3 had pumped recently with a Symphony or
Lactina and couldn't get used to the PJ's Comfort Jr. I suspect that's what
may be happening with Lisa's client, here.

Anyhow, hope this helps.
