Dear netters, just a note to you all who do not know that october is not
only a month to remember breast cancer awareness, but it is also Domestic
violence awareness month. the ribbon is royal blue-purple of sorts. More
babies are damaged due to domestic violence. So are the moms.  at least 3 in
5 women have been victims of sexual assault , rape or DV at some time in
there lives. Many we deal with may have issues revolving around these
issues. Next time you have a consultation, remember that mom may be going
thru or have survived and still surviving.

It's been a long day the stats may be off, but in our county of 23,000  at
least 15 of the arrests each week are due to domestic violence, thery are
listed in the newpaper..
I am the Pres of ourt local CV coalition and trying to establish a shelter
in this county. Just wanted to remind you.
