The mother who has the "bump" near her nipple with little bumps around it
may have accessory breast tissue with another tiny nipple and some
montgomery glands.  If it is real close to the main nipple, it may pose a
challenge to the baby to form and draw in a teat, causing the babies to
prefer the other side which may have better elasticity and is more easily
graspable.
