I was going to stay out of this because I've let my NSHO be known at
International but I'm jumping in any way.
To say that LLL is not bringing business to Disney because the conference is
held at a Shereton hotel is naive. Conference participants or hotel guests can
get into the park an hour early and at a reduced rate. A few days ago Carol
raised an excellent point. LLL's reason for holding it there is that they want
to attract people from all over the world. I certainly don't think Florida in
July is all that big an attraction.
I will not be attending the conference and it's tough because there are so
many awesome speakers including  fellow and sister Lactneters. I really
encourage people who object to this major faux-pas to not go and let LLL know
why.
I will continue to support LLL and serve mothers in my community as a LLLL.
I'm taking the approach that I do with my kids. Sometimes they really screw
up. I let them know what they did, why it was wrong, suggest right action,
then forgive and continue to love them.
