The origin of this thread must have taken place under a different subject,
because I can't find it listed among the postings for this topic in the
archives.  I would love to see the original postings.  If anyone can help me
out here, I'd really appreciate it.

I did not mean to imply any offense taken by me at the thread--I merely
meant to correct what seemed to me an erroneous statement regarding church
teaching.
