Hmm, I think this is reasonable, and may be related to diet, tho not the fiber in the diet, but the soy in the diet (which also increases fiber as I think of it).   The softer stools, and more freq stools may be related to the higher plant proteins, and phytoestrogens in the soy diets of moms.   Just some thoughts.
