My eczema prone babies got a thick application of sorbolene cream after
their bath to hydrate thier skin. I believe this is a recommendation of the
Royal Children's Hospital 'Ecxema Clinic'(Melbourne, Australia). It's cheap
(A$2 a jar at the chemist/supermarket)and effective.
My 2 cents (..or $2!)worth
