Diane,
Look back at the records and determine if suck , swallow studies were done
and see the results .  If this study was not done (chances are it was done)
.  That might be a starting place.  If this procedure  is scheduled be sure
to go and watch as the procedure is done .  Let the radiologists know that
you are there to learn what you can .  You will learn a lot.
Please try and let us know how this progresses.  The family is lucky to have
such close follow-up
