Barbara,
I second your post re: overtreating 'thrush' in absence of a diagnosis.
Some mothers will develop dermatitis from yeast treatment, they may then
need a mild hydrocortisone cream for a few days, rather than more yeast
treatment.  A good diagnosis by an experienced physician is essential in
continuing nipple soreness, imho.
