some thought with me on how to reply to this mother. Thanks! Nancy in Perth

>I got when we started breastfeeding. Recently I have begun
>pumping occasionally with a Medela Pump-in-Style, and after
>pumping the scars (or the area under the scarred skin) turn
>purple, as if they are bruised. They don't really hurt (although
>nursing has never been pain-free for me) but I am wondering if
>this is a warning sign? Should I not pump at all? Have you
>ever heard of such a thing?
