To all of you who have rental stations:

Do you take advantage of the company's policy (M.....) to send out a mailing
advertising your station? You provide the names and addresses, they mail
information. They will mail flyers as long as the majority of the flyer
advertises their product. You can gather the names of the doctors you mom's
use. Local hospitals and health clinics. You name it.
They will do this twice a year.

Also, remember that the public has a very short memory. Unless your name is
in front of them often they will forget you. It takes about three exposures
for anything to even register. Advertising once does little. You must
advertise repeatedly, then it takes about 6 months to begin to see results.

Competition is terrible in the pump business everywhere right now. We have
to tell the public why they should use us over the pharmacy or other place
that doesn't have our expertise.

Have you thought of going to the pharmacy that is your competition and seeing
if they will hand out flyers about your services when they rent their pumps
out? You, after all, do offer something they don't and probably never will.
But the people who rent the pump probably need your services too.

Hope this helps.
