Hi Liz and all,
This is the first I have heard that AMEDA was not in compliance? Til now I think we were under the impression here that AMEDA indeed was still the only (if not one of the only) companies who were always and still are compliant.

Becky, I too was surprised that so little has been publicly discussed about
this corporation's move to divest its WHO-Code-covered product line,
bringing it back into (apparent) Code compliance after bottles and teats
were again being marketed after a several-year hiatus. Heaven knows there
was plenty of fur flying and finger pointing when they initially moved to
re-market the bottles and teats.

I say apparent Code compliance because their January press release
http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/01/18/idUS209894+18-Jan-2012+BW20120118
says the deal is subject to regulatory approvals, which were to be
completed by the end of Jan 2012. I do not know if all the t's have been
crossed and i's dotted yet.
