To all,

The other day when I was responding to a post by Denise on slander, I said
something that may inadvertently been misinterpreted.  I said something to
the effect of people taking a course that offers a certficate of completion,
and then that person calling themselves a certified lactation consultant.
 The reason I said that is because there is a person "out there" who is
claiming that they are certified because they attended a one day bf program
given by a colleague and myself, and because they received a CERP awarding
certificate from that program.  I was still fuming from that bit of
information when I posted about the slander.

I'll be more careful as to how I phrase things in the future.  Perhaps we all
need to be careful about how we phrase things.  A word to the wise....
