Deb, and others who may be new to this list,
This is definitely a case in which Reverse Pressure Softening as described
by Jean Cotterman (whose article on the technique was voted 'most useful' in
2004 by readers of JHL, with good reason!) should be tried. You will know
within minutes whether it is helping. Google for Reverse Pressure Softening
if you don't have the JHL article at hand. Once you have tried it you won't
be able to work without it in your repertoire, particularly if you work in a
hospital.
