Hello All,

I am trying to complete a handout which shows how much more expensive it is to formula feed than BF in baby's first year (including healthcare costs, etc.) I was wondering if anyone knows what the most expensive specialty formula is (and why it's used -- what health condition -- also why BF would be better for that health condition would be helpful to know). The local pharmacy won't answer me, and the pediatrician doesn't seem to want to call me back. I will be happy to send anybody who is interested an attachment of my project handout to look at ... I am not any sort of industry rep looking to trick someone into "recommending" formula ... very much the contrary. I just want to create an accurate handout and hopefully get it approved to give to pregnant moms in the area (especially the WIC moms ... I do a volunteer Q&A session every other week at the local WIC office).

Thanks for any help,
Heidi Koslo
