I am requesting to hear from any Michigan hospital based IBCLCs who see
patients on an out-patient basis for consults and have been successful in
charging and receiving some reimbursement. Also would be helpful to hear
from those who also have been successfull with in-patient charges. I'm
developing a program for a level one hospital with close to 1000
births/year with 50% medicaid, others private. I am functioning currently
under a "Community Free Service" code now for my Out-pt. clinic. Our OB
dept is absorbing the costs for now but is struggling and needs another
income avenue. I welcome any successful experiances. Thanks. JL
