May I respectfully submit:

Homeopathic Cantharis (or perhaps other homeopathics) may also relieve
discomfort of UTI with no side effects whatsoever. Perhaps checking with
a local Homeopathic Practitioner would be useful. They are often willing
to provide adjunctive care in cases such as this.
