Hello

I recently tried to purchase a Tanita BLB-12 and they have discontinued 
making that model.  They have had a new one since January 2007, the BD-
815U.  It looks very similar with 0.1oz accuracy but goes up to 33lbs, I 
believe, and has a padded tray.  I am hesitant to buy this new model until I 
hear some comments from happy or unhappy owners.
