Thirty years ago there were those HCPs who would insist that every baby give up bottles at one year. I was working in infant day care at the time and these moms would come in and be following doctors orders. This is just some magical cutoff age for some people. I didn't understand it then and and I don't understand it now, for breastfed babies or bottle fed babies.
