This is a ANA (American Nurses Association) site. Listed are all the
organizations that are working with the recovery efforts and many are asking
for nurses to help volunteer. Wanted to pass this information along for
anyone that wants to directly help out. I'm thinking about it, but I have 3
small kids at home, not sure how I'd swing it.

And here are phone numbers for the LA-OEP (Louisiana Office of Emergency
Preparedness), they are requesting health care volunteers, the numbers are
225-389-2100 or 225-925-7500 and ask for “Medical”. They are expecting your
call. If the line is busy, please keep calling.

I found this information on a nurses website called allnurses.com I'm
wondering too if anyone is organizing any type of Lactation volunteers to go
down to the area. Has anyone heard of this?
