Lactnetters, Fennel and fenugreek are different plants,but have the same
effect as galactagogues,so from that perspective, they are interchangeable. I
like to recommend using them both together, many herbs work better in
combination. Herb-herb interactions are pretty rare, I worry about herb-drug
interactions much more! Brewing a cup of tea with one bag each of fennel and
fenugreek, steep for 5-10 minutes and drink 2-3 cups a day will give the
