I recently had a call from an md who is pregnant with her first child.
had what she thought was a skin tag on her nipple. had it removed by a
dermatologist who thought it was hpv although did no diagnostic work. told
by this md that she could pump but did not advice breastfeeding ,although
risk is probably minimal, since she at present doesn't have a lesion.

has anyone worked with this type of situation? anything i have read is
conterversial in what is recommended and most information is not with
lesions of breast or breastfeeding but exposure during delivery.
with no lesions present would the risk be the same as when breastfeeding?

thank you for any ideas.
