"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the use of the World Health Organization (WHO) growth standards to monitor growth for infants and children 0 to 2 years of age in the U.S.  CDC developed the Birth to 24 Months based on the (WHO) international growth standards.  WIC nutrition risk criteria have been updated and revised to incorporate the use of these new charts, to be implemented October 1, 2012."
There is also a training module of the use of these growth charts on the USDA website.  

The Pennsylvania WIC Program is switching to these charts 6-1-12.
