affront to LLL because I certainly am still a very proud LLL Leader.
Unfortunately, our community AT LARGE does not do a very good job of accepting
volunteer opinion vs. professional opinion--one of the reasons I became an
IBCLC.  I do not believe that every mother MUST have an LC to be successful at
breastfeeding.  However, if the mother has a serious FFT situation and she has
NOT seen an LC, why is it that breastfeeding gets a bad rap?  Why is
"breastfeeding management" almost always overlooked as the missing component?
Even most pediatricians out there will recommend intense formula
supplementation as opposed to a trip to the lactation consultant!
