There was a full-page article this week in *Newsweek *(one of the two US
biggies for weeklies - *Time* is the other). I received my issue on Monday
and didn't alert you other Lactnuts as I thought someone else would comment.
A very thought-provoking article. It was breast-feeding (with a hyphen) and
started with a comment about Maggie Gyllenhall who apparently made a real
spectacle of herself feeding her baby in public in New York City. (That's
dripping with sarcasm, could you tell.) I didn't find the reporter skewed in
any way, and thus took it as a good look at our public confusion about
breasts. The bold print said something like, "We know breast-feeding is best
for babies. We also seem to think breast-feeding is disgusting." Here's a
