To:Dot-maker,
I'm a new Lactnet subscriber. It's fascinating to hear from so many LC's.
I'm trying to read everything and wonder how everyone else manages to get
anything else done.
My name is Ginny Jones. I'm a BSN, IBCLC in Florence, SC. I work half time
@ a regional medical center and full time as mother of a 10 and 12 year old.
A friend just returned from AWHONN with a pamphlet describing a "cooling
cabbage extract gel" and vanilla comfort cream for sore nipples. Can't
imagine how we've gotten along without these necessities for so long.
Has anyone filled out the survey of Infant Feeding Practices in US Health
Care Facilities? Is this going to help establish/identify Baby Friendly
facilities? How is it being distributed? I received mine from another LC.
