Just had a mom readmitted, ok to post. Got her moved up from a med/surg
floor so that her baby could come in and nurse. Admitted with T 104, mild
achiness, no severe flu symptoms. Started on IV fluids and Unasyn. In talking
with her only change recently is that she went from nursing bras to regular
underwires because she felt they were more supportive. Is now an H cup while
nursing. Baby nurses well, is a little moose and very satisfied after feed.
Redness is on underside of both breasts, no abcesses thank God or she would
have had to stay on the med/surg floor and just pump. Docs have encouraged
her to continue nursing. Any suggestions or comments? We live in southeastern
PA, was wondering if there was anywhere in particular that she could go for a
good bra fitting when discharged. Thanks
