.      I just wanted to share some good news.  My hospital is starting a
breastfeeding support group and they have offered to pay me to coordinate it!
This is a small step but it required cooperation from  several departments to
set it up.  We will have a lactation educator (me) available from 11:30-1:00
every Monday for people to drop in and ask questions.   I will have a short
topic maybe 10 minutes that I will present each week.  I also plan to have
breastfeeding and parenting books and videos available as loaners for people
to take home. I hope it will end up being a place for breastfeeding mothers to
network.  We set the time so that the clinic can refer mom's on to me if they
are having breastfeeding problems when they come back for their 2 week well
baby check.  I am so excited!
