I have a question regarding the hematcrit after a vacuum delivery...does
this also include the use of the Kiwi which is a type of vacuum but supposedly
less chance of injury than with a mini vac or original vacuum.
I have noted that babies that are Kiwi assisted deliveries whether vaginal
or cesarean also have poor initiation of breastfeeding and have a definite
increase in the bilirubin levels at 48 hours due to the bruising on their heads.
This was very interesting.
