I just feel cynical today. Why is it making people feel guilty when we tell the truth about breast milk, (Mother's Milk is best) but OK when we advertise for formula?? Mom's who choose to bottle feed will be constantly faced with the truthful messages that breast milk is best. Now some moms with babies in the NICU never get a good milk supply going with a breast pump for many reasons. Those moms who really wanted to breastfeed but never made a good supply are the ones to feel sorry for. But the truth of the matter is still that breast milk is best. We never tell smokers "Don't feel guilty." We say QUIT.
