Ines, this is a very frustrating situation that I see all too often. To
help organise this little one, mom can place baby skin-to-skin (sternum to
sternum). Baby can be worn under a boob tube or similar to keep her in
position so that mom can move around freely. Being skin-to-skin, being
upright and experiencing mom's normal movements etc should go a long way to
help this baby get all her ducks-in-a-row. Baby will sleep better (more
normal sleep cycles) and wake and eat better. Also, encourage baby-led self
attachment - there have bee a couple of great posts recently on this topic.
Good luck.
