Since I personally battled candida for over a year, I can tell you that diet
does make a big difference.  You might best understand the connection by
reading either of Dr. William Crook's books, The Yeast Connection or The
Yeast Connection and the Woman.  Though he doesn't discuss ductual or nipple
yeast, the relationship of systemic yeast or vaginal yeast and diet are the
same.  Some foods feed yeast or create an enviroment where yeast grows more
rapidly.  By taking these food out of ones diet, it helps to starve the yeast
so it can't multiply so easily.
