A thought....

I wonder if a mother who chooses to delay breastfeeding because of cultural influences could be persuaded to pump and dump her colostrum?
I know, I know, throwing away all that liquid gold is anathema, BUT.... at least she would bring in her mature milk faster and perhaps avoid engorgement.
I am also thinking about suggesting cup-feeding the baby instead of bottle feeding the AIM.

Getting a headache here from all these mental acrobatics, norma.
