never heard of my moms needing to hav their babies in such a position(lying
on stomach) for very long. I don't see them because the children's hospital
is not in mine but they never seem to be in that long either unless they have
to stay to have a shunt placed.There is no danger that I know of to the
spinal cord when its been surgically repaired.Incisions heal quickly.
