Good evening,

I got a call from a mother with Hashimoto thyroiditis. She is still pregnant and her endocrinologist told her, that she will not be allowed to breastfeed her baby becaus of high antibodies.

Is there anybody out in the Lactnet-community who has informations about Hashimoto thyroiditis and breastfeeding and especially Hashimoto thyroiditis as contraindication to breastfeeding and can share these information with me?
