The story is true and was all over the NYC media this week.  I can't make
myself watch or read all of it.  Obviously I do not know all of the facts
but it is hard to believe that the mother was anything other than ill
informed and misguided.  To my knowledge the baby was never seen by any
medical professional between hospital discharge and his death.
