Dear Lactnetters/Nurses/Researcher's. Just wondering what the stats are on
the tool by Jan Riordan, via Christi,Breastfeeding Assessment tool were ? In
the 1997 JOGN article by Riordan and Koehn, it was concluded that the IBFAT,
MBA and LATCH were too new in there development to be valid for clincal use ,
reliability and validity below 90 %. As a new LC for a hospital just
wondering what is appropiate to use as a clinical tool. Lisa Mooney RN BSN LC
