Lovely insights, Alla, though I have to admit I raised my eyebrows when I
learned your training in Russia was based on writing notes for the
*prosecutor* to see.  Yikes!

I think we are entirely on the same wave length:  It is the *fear* of
lawsuits that drives a lot of clinical behaviors these days; my point is
that the fear is not reflected in the reality of how many suits really are
being filed.

And of course -- we ALL can stand behind the notion that "rather then
complaining about "those breastfeeding unfriendly DOCTORS" let's see what
we can do with changing the "breastfeeding unfriendly ATTITUDES" of
everybody involved."
