Tuesday there was a story on WINGS
http://www.wings.org/ "Women's International News
Gathering Service" about a Baby Friendly hospital in
Brazil. The woman being interviewed is a pediatrician
at this hospital and the interviewer referred to the
Principles for Baby Friendly as being "stringent". I
object to this because in common parlance, stringent
is a negative- it implies harsh and difficult, things
we know the standards are not. I would like to
express this to the radio show, but am without my
normal computer and am finding a laptop hard to deal
with- plus, I'm missing those always essential
credentials. If you heard the show, or have an
opinion anyway :-) could you write them? there's a
link on the homepage- also, could you LMK if you
write? thanks.
