There is an extensive lactation curriculum for residents that was  published 
some years ago, I'll have to find it at work next week.

You have a wonderful resource there at George Washington University  
Hospital: Barbara Boston RNC, IBCLC, WHNP in the "Center For Integrative  Medicine". 
One of her specialties is working with lactating women who have  acute or 
chronic illness.
