Fomon -- he of the recommendation that all breastfed babies get Vitamin K
shots -- has for decades had his research funded by the infant formula
companies.  I guess I'm just getting older and crotchetier every year, but I
think of the formula companies as being sort of like the opposite of King
Midas.  Everything King Midas touched turned to gold.  Everything the
formula companies touch turns to . . . (use your imagination).
